Air Cairo (IATA: SM, ICAO: MSC) – a hybrid Egyptian charter airline headquartered in Cairo, which has been operating since October 2023 and currently operates more than 200 flights weekly to 50 international and domestic destinations under contracts with travel companies from Europe, Africa and Asia to Egypt.

Air Cairo fleet has 33 aircraft (24 Airbus А-320, 3 Embraer E-190 LR and 6 ATR72-600):

An additional piece of baggage up to 20 kg – from 100 EUR/USD*

Excess baggage up to 32 kg: from 50 EUR*
- The weight of each piece of passenger baggage should not exceed 32 kg
- Excess baggage is accepted if there is space in the baggage section of the aircraft. Please arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before the usual check-in time if you have excess baggage.

Air Cairo does not offer seat reservations on charter flights in advance. All requests for seat selection on the flight, if it possible, are made during check-in at the airport check-in desk.

Animal transportation in the cabin on Air Cairo flights

Air Cairo on their flights accepts only dogs and cats aged 8 weeks and older.
For information on the documents required and the rules for transporting an animal, the passenger should contact the relevant services.

Transportation of an animal in the cabin – 75 USD* (or local currency equivalent)
- Maximum weight – up to 8 kg (including the container)
- Sealed container – 45x35x20 cm (length, width, height)

Transportation of children and infants on Air Cairo charter flights

Categories:

• up to 2 years - an infant

They travel in the arms of their parents without occupying a separate seat. An adult passenger may travel with only one infant. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for carriage.

• from 2 to 12 years old – child

 When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket will be issued. There are no additional discounts, children have a separate seat on the plane.

Unaccompanied minor (UMNR) on charter flights of Air Cairo:

- The service is mandatory for children aged 5 to 12 and is not mandatory for children aged 12 to 18
- The cost of the minor escort service is specified additionally.

Passengers should check the rules for crossing the border of the departure/transit/destination country for minors and the required documents and airline rules for unaccompanied minors - on their own.

Pre-ordering meals on Air Cairo flights
Meals are not provided on Air Cairo charter flights. It is not possible to arrange meals on charter flights in advance.

Check-in for charter flights with Air Cairo
Passengers must be at the airport 3 hours before scheduled time of departure. Closing time for international flights is (60) minutes before scheduled time of departure.
