Tailwind Airlines (IATA: TI, ICAO: TWI) – is a Turkish airline with British capital that operates domestic flights, international flights to 26 countries and charter flights to/from Turkey on behalf of travel agencies. The airline launched its first flight in May 2009.

The fleet of Tailwind Airlines includes:

• 5 Boeing 737-400 aircraft (capacity - 168 seats, seats in the cabin are arranged in a 3+3 configuration)
• 2 Boeing 737-800 aircraft (capacity - 189 seats, seats in the cabin are arranged in a 3+3 configuration (no 1 DEF)

Transportation of animals in the cabin on Tailwind Airlines flights:

Tailwind Airlines only accepts dogs and cats for carriage on board: no more than 2 animals in the cabin and no more than 4 animals in the baggage compartment.

Transportation of children and infants on Tailwind Airlines charter flights

Categories:

• up to 2 years - infant

 They travel in the arms of their parents, without taking a separate seat. One adult passenger can travel with only one infant. Newborns under 7 days old are not accepted for transportation.

• from 2 to 12 years old - child

 When purchasing a ticket for a child, a regular passenger ticket is issued. No additional discounts are provided, children occupy a separate seat on the plane.

Unaccompanied minor on Tailwind Airlines charter flights:
- This service is available for children between the ages of 6 and 12,
- The cost is 40 EUR* one way per child.

Tailwind Airlines does not provide meals on board. It is not possible to pre-order meals on flights.

Check-in for charter flights with Tailwind Airlines

There is no online check-in for Tailwind Airlines flights and check-in is only available at the airport prior to departure, free of charge:

• Check-in begins 2.5-3 hours prior to departure
• Check-in closes 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time.
